Nativity Welcomes Sebastian Kloth

August 25, 2007
Hello, my name is Sebastian, 21, and I just graduated from Nativity's partner school Otto-Hahn Gymnasium in Geesthacht, Germany. I arrived at Cincinnati Airport just a few days ago on August, 21st.

In the last couple of days I met the Brocks, my host family, the staff at Nativity school, and I saw a small part of the city of Cincinnati. I like my host family and my new collegues and the city is just amazing even though I didn't get to see a lot, yet.

I hope within the next 3 months I'll be able to experience the American culture by visiting new places, meeting new people and even spending some of your holidays with you.

I'm happy to be here and I'll try to keep up the good reputation the former Otto-Hahn Gymnasium exchange stundents have built up.

I got home safely to Geesthacht, Germany.
When I look back at the last three months I know that it was a good decision to go to the US. But now I know that I should have stayed longer than 3 months.

I had a great time at Nativity. It was a lot of fun working at the school and people also took care that I had a great time out of school. I'm happy that I dared to go to a country on my own that I've never been to before and I'm thankful for all the support I got during the three months.

Finally I can say that I achieved every single goal I wanted to. During the three months I got to know some of your culture. It was a lot of fun spending Halloween with you and I got to know some really great people. All of that and much more made my time in the US very special to me.
I wish you all the best and hope to see at least some of you again in Germany next April.
