On May 14, about 35 volunteers came together at French Park to spread approximately 90 cubic yards of mulch around play structures, picnic tables and trees. The project was a great success due to the hard work of volunteers ranging in age from toddlers to seniors.
These volunteers joined with thousands of other Christians across the city in a day of service. This effort brought together the 11th year of “Go Cincinnati”, a service day sponsored by Crossroads Community Church, and “An Outpouring of Mercy” a service project of the Archdiocese.
These service projects focused on giving thanks to the various nonprofits that improve life in our community by giving them a day of our service to assist on projects that help them deliver their mission.
A big thank you to the volunteers, the Cincinnati Park Board staff, Crossroads, and the Archdiocese staff that helped make this project possible.
