Celebrating a Century of Nativity

2017 marks the 100th Anniversary of Nativity Parish. Over the course of the next year, we will be Celebrating a Century of Nativity and developing our plans for our next century!  During 2017, look for the release of the new Nativity History book, tours of the “Nativity History Exhibit,” monthly “100 Acts of Kindness” provided by our Nativity students and parish organizations, and much more. And be sure to save the dates below to join the Nativity community in the special celebrations and events we have planned.

Still to come in 2017 is the release of the Nativity History book and the events listed below. Be sure to save the dates and register to join the Nativity community in the special celebrations that we have planned.

Centennial Celebration – Saturday, June 3, 2017 – 6:30 to 11 p.m.

Please join us for this adults-only night of celebration at Nativity! Your $40/ per person ticket includes:

  • 6:30-8 pm Men’s Club HomeBrew Contest (Courtyard)
  • 7-8:30 pm Catered food stations & open bar with music provided by CSO Pops Pianist Julie Spangler Klug (St. Sebastian Hall)
  • 8:30-11 pm Fellowship, fun and adult beverages, with music provided by “The Refranes” (Courtyard)

Nativity Alumni Mass Celebrating 100 Years of Nativity with Bishop Joseph Binzer as Presider, followed by Wine & Cheese Reception– Saturday, September 16, 2017 – 4:30 to 7 pm

Nativity alumni and their guests are invited to join fellow alumni on Saturday, September 16 beginning at 4:30 pm with a special Mass celebrating 100 years of Nativity in the church. Bishop Joseph Binzer will preside at the Mass with Father Paul DeLuca concelebrating.  The Mass will be followed by a reception in the school featuring wine, cheese, and light hors d’oeuvres. At the reception, Bishop Binzer will speak briefly about the important role that Catholic education has played in the rich history of Nativity.  Tours of the school will be available. Centennial Circus – Sunday, November 5, 2017 – Noon to 2 pm

All-family fun in St. Sebastian Hall and the courtyard. Free face painting, photo booth, games, cotton candy, popcorn and hot dogs.
