Behavior/Homework:
Classroom Expectations:
1. Respect yourself. Respect others.
2. You are responsible for your own choices.
3. Practice active listening skills.
4. Have a positive attitude.

Each student is expected to abide by the guidelines set forth in the Nativity School Handbook. Students begin each day with a “green card”. Students pull yellow and red cards for inappropriate behavior. At the end of the school day, each student marks a colored star (green, yellow, or red) in their assignment notebook. This indicates the color of card they ended with that day. Weekly behavior reports are noted in each student’s Friday Folder.

Consequences include:
First consequence: Verbal warning
Second consequence: Student receives a yellow card and misses his/her next recess.
Third consequence: Student receives a red card. A call home is made to set up a conference with the parent(s), student, and teacher.
Homework is turned in first thing each morning. Failure to do so will result in staying inside at recess to make up the missing assignment(s). Late and missing homework is recorded in each student’s Friday Folder.
