Kindergarten Teacher

Kindergarten: Teacher/Full-Time for the 2021-2022 school year: Nativity of Our Lord School in Pleasant Ridge is seeking a dynamic, energetic, creative and nurturing educator who can provide a Christ centered classroom where the arts, technology and a global perspective are infused with a solid academic education. Candidates should have the ability to collaborate with colleagues and work towards fulfilling Nativity’s mission is essential. the ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills with a focus on student learning. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills with a focus on student learning. Applicants should be a practicing Catholic, hold a valid Ohio Teaching Certificate with a reading endorsement/certificate.

Spanish Teacher

School Secretary

The school secretary must be compassionate, considerate, love helping to grow children, and exhibit a professional demeanor at all times. Candidates should have the ability to collaborate with colleagues and work towards fulfilling Nativity’s mission is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills. The school secretary is responsible for the management of the School Office and assists the School Principal in administrative duties. The school secretary needs to be proficient in Google G Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and excel.

The primary responsibilities of the School Secretary include:

  • Answering the phone, greeting visitors, taking messages, typing, and filing.
  • The office School Secretary will have a working knowledge of the school’s computer systems and software.
  • The school secretary is responsible for the maintenance of record keeping.
  • Maintains the database, including demographic and academic information.
  • Manages the enrollment process for new students, including the inquiry and application process.
  • Manages the administration of the EdChoice Scholarship Program.
  • Serves as the Virtus/Parish Safe Environment Coordinator Serves as the managing editor for the weekly newsletter.
  • Coordinates special events.
  • Maintains school Google Calendar.

School Office Assistant

Office Assistant/Full-Time: Nativity of Our Lord School (K-8) in Pleasant Ridge is seeking an Office Assistant (Full-Time) for the 2021-2022 school year. The Office Assistant must be compassionate, considerate, love helping to grow children, and exhibit a professional demeanor at all times. This position requires a candidate who can help provide an environment where the arts, technology and a global perspective are infused with a solid academic education. Candidates should have the ability to collaborate with colleagues and work towards fulfilling Nativity’s mission is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills.

The primary responsibilities of the Office Assistant include:

  • Answering the phone, greeting visitors, taking messages, typing and filing.
  • The office assistant will have a working knowledge of the school’s computer systems and software, The office assistant is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of record keeping.
  • The office assistant is responsible for maintaining the office equipment.
  • The office assistant shall keep track of medications that are dispersed to students.
  • The office assistant shall oversee the administrative duties associated with the food service program.
