Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

At Nativity there is a place for children to come spend time with God. In this space, called the Atrium, children experience the love of God and grow in their faith. For a fuller description of the Atrium, go to the link in the Religious Education menu.

Preparing for and providing Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a team effort. If we use the team analogy, we need catechists and assistants as coaches in faith. A team manager can keep track of the registration and schedule. Equipment managers help with materials and supplies. Parents are a vital part of the spirit section (that’s all of us!) that roots for the team and watches its progress with attentive enthusiasm.

Atrium sessions run from October to mid-May. Occasional summer activities and catechist training will be announced in the bulletin and/or by email. If you want your child (grandchild, godchild) to participate, please give us your contact information.

For more information about this ministry please contact Sr. Janet Schneider, Director of Religious Education, at  (513) 531-3164.
