Parish Council

Would you like to have a great overall view of the parish? Can you be attentive to, and consider the needs of the whole parish? Is the mission and spiritual welfare of the parish important to you? Would you be interested in working in a spirit of prayer, shared responsibility, and consensus building? Do you have practical wisdom, experience, or expertise you are willing to share with the parish?

These are the gifts needed to serve on Parish Council. The Parish Council is a consultative body consisting of people who represent the diversity of the parish community. The council works with the pastor in developing pastoral goals and promoting spiritual growth and renewal in the parish. Working with other parish organizations and ministries, the council recommends specific policies and programs to the pastor that will help the parish carry out its ministry.

New representatives are chosen in the spring with each term being three years. Parish Council primarily meets the fourth Wednesday of each month with a break in the summer.

For more information about this ministry please contact the Parish Office at  (513) 531-3164.
