If you were a student, a staff member or a parent any time during Nativity School's 100 years, you have a story (or several!) to tell.
As most of you know, we are planning to celebrate Nativity School’s 100th Anniversary during the 2021-2022 school year. One of the components of our celebration is sharing the Nativity story through a series of podcasts. The podcasts will be created by members of the Nativity community (that’s you!) and published periodically throughout the year. Our expectation is that they will be brief and cover a variety of topics related to each person’s experience at Nativity.
Before you say this task is not for you, we have put together some simple steps to help you! We are sharing a list of possible podcast topics, but please don’t limit yourself to this list if you have another idea. We recommend stories be about 2 minutes at the most. Jack Knellinger, our technical resource for this project, has created a guide for folks to use to help create their story. Please use it if you find it helpful, but you may skip it if it doesn’t work for you. To record your story, we are asking you to use the Voice Memos app on your phone. Then email your story to this email address: centennial@nativity-cincinnati.org.
If it would be helpful to have a sample of a podcast, please respond to this email and we will send one to you. If you are so inclined, you are welcome to submit more than one story. Deadlines and reminders are helpful in getting tasks accomplished in our busy lives, so we will provide both for you. We request podcasts be submitted by July 15, and will send quick reminders between now and then.
If you have questions along the way, please let us know. Thanks so much for considering this request to help tell the Nativity School story. We hope this project brings you good memories of your time at Nativity.
